Cursor Launches Self-Developed Agentic Programming Model Composer 2.5
Musk invited users on the X platform to test Cursor's latest version model, Composer 2.5, which was partially trained using Colossus 2. Cursor officials stated that the model is trained based on Moonshot AI's Kimi K2.5, focusing on improving long-task stability and complex instruction-following capabilities. Technically, it adopts text-feedback-based directed reinforcement learning, with synthetic training scale expanded to 25 times that of the previous generation, using sharded Muon and dual-grid HSDP to optimize training efficiency.
